CPAP Therapy

What is CPAP?

CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure. It is the most common and effective treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Other less common treatments include surgery and oral devices, which may be effective for some individuals.

How Does it Work?

CPAP works by splinting open the airway with a gentle flow of air pressure through a mask while you sleep. This immediately alleviates the symptoms of OSA - Breathing normalizes, snoring stops, restful sleep is restored and quality of life improves! CPAP Therapy is safe and effective, and treats your OSA without the risks of surgery.

How do I get a CPAP Machine?

Our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Department can provide you with a CPAP machine (once prescribed by your doctor).  Our experienced staff will fit you with a mask and teach you how to make CPAP Therapy an easy addition to your everyday routine. We are always available should you encounter challenges with your therapy, and are dedicated to ensuring you receive a restful sleep - free from the health risks of OSA!
